Just a few weeks ago Louise Farrell shared a shocking picture of litter on a trail below Lions Head. Louise immediately co-ordinated a cleanup on Saturday 8 October in partnership with Love our trails, Sugarbird Trust, SANParks, CoCT, TBK Watch and Remax who brought in a team from Straatwerk. Mandela Day Cleanup was a huge success
Love our trails partnered with Cape Union Mart to host our annual Mandela Day Cleanup on Platteklip Gorge for the 7th year running. On Saturday 16th July 2022 over 30 volunteers joined us for the Mandela Day cleanup and together we picked up 10 bags of litter and scrubbed off some graffiti. Love our trails celebrates it's 7th birthday by hosting the Mandela Day Trail Clean Up on Platteklip Gorge. One of the world's greatest natural flower shows takes place in South Africa every year from mid July to the end of September.
