At Love Our Trails, we believe in more than just getting outside. We believe in connecting people to wild spaces in ways that deepen their appreciation for nature, foster community, and inspire personal growth. That’s why we’re so excited to partner with a brand new trail running event that aligns perfectly with our values: The Cederberg Stage Run.
This unique three-day trail running adventure will take place from 4–6 September 2025, in the breathtaking Cederberg wilderness area, based around Kromrivier Cederberg Park. With entries limited to just 120 participants, this event offers an intimate and authentic experience in a mountain range that feels wild, with no cellphone connection or city lights.
What makes the Cederberg Stage Run so special isn’t just the rugged trails or the stunning scenery — it’s the heart behind it. The event merges the thrill of trail running with the magic of camping under the stars, encouraging runners to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature, themselves, and others.
But what really speaks to us is the event’s commitment to conservation. A portion of each entry fee will go directly to support The Cape Leopard Trust and Sustainable Ceder, two incredible organisations doing vital work in the region. The event is also being run with the support of CapeNature, ensuring that environmental impact is carefully managed.
At Love Our Trails, we believe that enjoying wild spaces comes with a responsibility to protect and give back to them. The Cederberg Stage Run isn’t just about running — it’s about contributing to a more sustainable future for these iconic landscapes.
