Cleaning illegal dumping on our trails
Just a few weeks ago Louise Farrell shared a shocking picture of litter on a trail below Lions Head.
Louise immediately co-ordinated a cleanup on Saturday 8 October in partnership with Love our trails, Sugarbird Trust, SANParks, CoCT, TBK Watch and Remax who brought in a team from Straatwerk.
The cleanup up was a huge success, picking up 60 plus bags of litter in 3hours.
We would like to tank everyone involved in making this cleanup possible and a special thanks to the volunteers who joined.
While we encourage trail uses to get involved in keeping our trails clean please be aware of needles and other dangerous items.
