Trail running is about more than just the miles we cover – it’s about the stories, the people, and the wild places that inspire us. This October, the 2025 Trails in Motion Film Tour is bringing all of that magic to life right here in Noordhoek, with two evenings of films, community, and celebration.
Where: Café Roux, Noordhoek
When: Tuesday 28 October & Thursday 30 October 2025
Tickets: R180 (Screening starts at 6:30 pm – arrive from 5:30 pm to grab a seat, a meal, and soak in the vibe!)
What to Expect
This year’s line-up features six incredible films that showcase courage, resilience, and the joy of trail running from around the world. From William Chirwa’s inspiring journey in Good Will Running, to heartfelt tales like Talk to Frank and mountain epics like Les Sommets Libres and Picapica, there’s something here to remind every trail lover why we lace up and head into the wild.
One highlight for the local community will be the short film premiere of Karoline Hanks’s Chappies Everesting challenge, which she completed in July this year.
And because this is Noordhoek, the screenings are more than just movies – they’re about giving back. Proceeds will support Project Noordhoeked, a local greening initiative. Even better, William Chirwa himself (star of Good Will Running) will join filmmaker Rudi Gremels for a Q&A, alongside celebrity guest Bianca Tarboton. The wonderful Tatum Prins will be your host for the evenings.
Extra Fun
Raffle prizes up for grabs on both nights include:
